Did you know you can simulate leap second corrections with LabSat?
A leap second is a second added to Universal Time (UTC) in order to synchronize atomic clocks with astronomical time to within 0.9 seconds. This event happens once every couple of years and it is up to you to make sure your devices' firmware and algorithims manage these time changes correctly.
