Making it quicker and easier for test engineers to simulate satellite scenarios anywhere in the world, our new GPS only simulation software – SatGen v2 – makes testing GPS enabled devices easier than ever.

Developed with the user in mind, this software enables you to create scenes based on generated trajectory files which can be easily replayed on any LabSat GNSS Simulator. SatGen v2 will give you the opportunity to simulate a test anywhere in the world, with position, route, speed, date and time all easily defined.

SatGenv2

New features include:

  • Static scenario - data files for LabSat and LabSat 2 can be easily created, with a static position manually inserted or easily determined using the integrated Google maps screen.

  • Draw route - quick route definition available through clicking a series of locations inside the integrated Google maps screen.

  • Import file - allowing Google .KML/.NMEA or VBOX .VBO files to be imported directly, with an outline shown on the screen and various dynamics applied to the data.

  • User defined commands - advanced scenario creation available with predefined command buttons or scenario examples (including. figure-of-eight, circle around a point and aircraft take-off).

SatGen v2 allows you to automatically download relevant almanac data and Google maps by simply connecting your PC/laptop to the internet during scenario creation. Whilst the new simplified program interface makes it significantly quicker and easier to use than other GPS scenario software.

Designed to complement the SatGen GPS and GLONASS software currently available, this new version comes with a security key as standard.
